Anna Gilday is originally from Kansas City but attended Oklahoma City University where she graduated with honors and a Bachelors in Performing Arts. During her time there, she was a part of the prestigious American Spirit Dance Company under the direction of Jo Rowan. In addition, she was a member of the Pep dancers where she was the student director her senior year. This allowed her to showcase her love for teaching and choreographing.
After graduating, Anna was hired by Larrwell Productions to be a full time dancer for the Mary Kay National Seminars and was honored to be Dance Captain her 3rd year. From there she went on to dance for companies such as Southwest Airlines, Taco Bell, Norwex, Smile Brands, and Lorna Jane. You can find Anna in the national commercial for Gold’s Gym and dancing in a Chuck E. Cheese commercial. She is currently dancing with Urban Performing Company under the direction of Stevo McMaryion.
When she is not performing, Anna spends her time passing on her passion for dance to the younger generation. She loves being able to help her students excel and grow in their crafts and hopes to prepare them for the industry the best she can. Anna looks forward to getting to work and grow with KCPA!
