Instructor: Perf & Tech and Kaiser Kids Dance

Cassie began dancing at the age of 2. Cassie loved dance from the very beginning and took every style she could, but heavily based her skills in ballet. She danced for 12 years before transitioning into drill team in high school. She served as a Junior Lieutenant and Senior Caption for the Allen Tallenettes. After high school Cassie pursued dance further at Kilgore College as a Rangerette, serving as Right Middle Lieutenant her Sophomore Year. She also has been a MA Dance Staff for 13 years. She judges auditions and competitions seasonally with MA Dance. Cassie continued dancing at TWU in the dance department, ultimately minoring in dance alongside majoring in mathematics.

Cassie danced for professional teams including Allen Americans Ice Angels and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Most recently, she performed with the USA Cheerleaders, which is a non-profit organization that performs and gives back to military personnel and first responders.

As a teacher, Cassie uses her passion to help others create a deep love of dance in their own way. She hopes to instill in her students confidence and joy in their movement expression. She hopes her classroom offers a fun and safe place to try new things, make mistakes, learn, grow and find encouragement in the creative process.

Cassie is excited to be a part of KCPA. Her goal is to keep inspiring young dancers to reach beyond their own limits and limitations and find their thrive. She looks forward to a fun season ahead with lots of dancing!
