Instructor: Assembly, Perf. & Tech.

Derrius J. Harmon (Bang) began dancing in high school, at the age of 17, at Oscar Dean Wyatt High School. He spent his senior year training in jazz, ballet, and modern. Bang attended Tarrant County College where he joined the resident pre-professional dance company, “Velocity.” Soon after, Bang ventured into other styles like hip-hop (popping, locking, waving, tutting, house, etc).

He has worked with industry professionals on music videos, movies, as well as trained with some of the top choreographers in L.A. Bang has danced and choreographed for artists like Leon Bridges, as well as local artists. Currently teaching all over the DFW area, Bang embraces his love for choreographing by empowering the youth, and aims to help dancers train and prepare for the dance industry.
