Kaytie has been dancing since she was four years old and started dancing competitively at Dance Company of Wylie when she was 6 years old and continued to compete for 12 years. During her junior and senior years of high school, she was a member of the Plano East Golden Girls and was also Senior Lieutenant her senior year. For the past two years, Kaytie has been dancing at the collegiate level with Blinn College where she was honored to be named a Collegiate All American. She won a National Championship with her team in 2021 and was named captain for the 2021/22 season. She will be attending Sam Houston in the fall where she will be majoring in Business Management and minoring in Dance.
Kaytie’s goal is to instill in her students the same passion and love of dance that she feels while at the same time having fun while learning. Kaytie’s confidence, enthusiasm and fun loving nature helps encourage even the shyest of dancers to come out of their shell and find their love of dance.
